BEST-IN-CLASS FOR THE

Best of the best

People are The Connor Group’s No. 1 key to success. Culturally, it’s important for us to reward, recognize and provide for our associates.

Healthcare

We offer medical, dental, vision, life and pet insurance for associates and their families. Also, every associate on our medical plan receives an annual $1,000 contribution towards a flexible spending account for medical-related expenses. After three years with the company, individual medical and dental premiums are free to the associate.

We use a self-funded model – to keep our associates’ costs low. The average US health insurance costs have increased 25% per year since 2014. Connor Group associates’ costs have only increased 5% per year.

401K is top-notch at The Connor Group.

401(k)

Our 401(k) program is one of the best in the industry, and long-term, it will dramatically improve the lives of our associates. Associates are eligible to enroll in the 401(k) after 90 days of employment. They are automatically enrolled, contributing 3% of his or her pay to retirement. Associates can contribute more or less, or opt-out altogether if they decide to do so. Additionally, after one year of employment, the company will match 50% of the first three percent the associate contributes. The match percentage increases after years two, four, six and nine, when it caps out at 100% of the first nine percent the associate contributes.

Training is ongoing and covers a variety of topics based on position — customer service, closing sales and overcoming objections, HVAC, managing people, etc. We train in group classroom settings, as well as one-on-one, on-the-job. Each session is designed to teach the proven systems that have made The Connor Group and its associates successful.

Partnership Program

for elite performers

Our company partners aren’t just executives. This group includes associates hired in sales, property management, maintenance, and central office support. All have an ownership stake in The Connor Group and its properties. Within ten years of becoming partner, an associate can receive income equal to 35 to 100% of his or her base pay, above and beyond his or her normal paycheck. For example, an associate making a $40,000 annual salary might make $54,000 to $80,000 per year including partnership proceeds. An average partnership stake is projected to be worth more than $2 million in 20 years. The company plans to grow from about 60 partners today to 100 in the next 10 years.
