Job functions:

· Acts as a player-coach leading technology strategy and delivery for the entire enterprise – this includes artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, networking, helpdesk, and everything in between

· Plays a key leadership role in implementation and governance of artificial intelligence

· Working with leaders across the firm to provide technical advisory and support on software and hardware solutions

· Owning a technical project roadmap on a rolling 24-month timeframe

· Excellent customer service and technical support provided for our 54 standalone businesses (including 51 apartment communities across 17 cities and 3 supporting businesses located in our Central Support Office)

· Managing a team to drive improved efficiencies and technology strategies across the company

· Manages technical vendor relationships and handles negotiation of contracts

Desired Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar

· Relevant certifications in cyber security, cloud Management, network architecture and security, ITIL, or PMP

· Experience with SQL, Python, PHP, and Agile development methodologies is a plus

· 7 years of relevant multi-location experience with 5 or more years of managing 3 – 8 team leaders and 30 or more front-line workers

· Strong technical expertise and passion for learning and deploying the latest technologies

· A track record of successful implementations requiring both strategic thinking and tactical execution

· Strong technical problem-solving skills that result in uncovering the root problem, even without all the information readily available
