Bus Driver
Join The Greater Dayton School team as a Part-Time School Bus Driver. Assist the school’s bus route while ensuring safety for all students.
Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 4pm – 6:30pm
- NO holidays or weekends
Responsibilities will include:
- Learn the bus routes
- Drive bus routes during the timeframe
- Helping students get buckled in (with assistance from aide)
- Keeping students seated (monitored by bus aide)
- Communicating with other bus drivers
- Ensuring Student Safety (monitored by bus aide)
- Taking Attendance
- Safe Transportation of Students: Safety and reliability are two of the most important factors in the transportation for students to and from our School.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have current CDL with passenger endorsement or school bus equivalent
- Must have HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to authorize a background check
- Previous work or experience with youth preferred
