Connor Kids Academy is a three-year enrichment program that uses sports as the hook to teach healthy habits and good choices. Through in-person events and a year-round app, participants build discipline, confidence, and life skills.
Launched in 2021 in one city, CKA now operates in five cities across three states, serving 350+ boys. Growth will continue.
About the Role
This role is responsible for ensuring Connor Kids Academy’s operations run at a consistently high level across all cities.
This is a “2-deep” role. You will start below the Director, with the goal of taking full ownership of day-to-day operations over time.
You will not only execute key initiatives (events, enrollment, app engagement), but ensure they work consistently, at a high standard, and in a way that scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Own execution and continuous improvement of event operations
- Hold staff, vendors, and partners accountable to CKA standards
- Drive participant recruitment through school outreach and digital efforts
- Implement and refine app engagement initiatives
- Maintain operational data, track key metrics, and act on what the data shows
- Identify inefficiencies and improve processes to support scale
- Make decisions in real time to keep operations on track
- Communicate clearly and proactively with participants and families
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading projects or operations
- Strong ownership mentality and accountability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills
- Ability to build trust with a wide range of people
- Willingness to work 50+ hours per week, including weekends and overnight travel
Preferred
- Experience working with youth or community programs
- Multi-site or operational experience
- Sports background
